Profit Planner

The Profit Planner is an interactive wiki tool for Devil’s Market (Pasar Setan) on Roblox. It compares sample ingredient cost against estimated sell price for common dishes so you can choose tonight’s menu with fewer guesses. All values are community estimates - Project Dukun can rebalance the economy in patches. Use this page alongside the Recipe Profit Tier List, Recipes, and Night Market guide.

When to use the planner

Open the planner before you commit rare materials:

  • You harvested crow drops and debate satay versus stew
  • Mystery shop stock offers a shortcut ingredient at a steep price
  • A patch just landed and you need quick sanity checks
  • Friends ask which plate actually pays best on your stall size

The planner does not farm jasmine, cook soup, or upgrade capacity for you. It narrows decisions so session time goes to play.

How to read the numbers

Each dish shows three estimates:

  • Cost - typical ingredient spend using common farm routes
  • Sell - expected stall price in an average session
  • Profit - sell minus cost for one portion

Profit ignores time spent farming, queue delays, and unsold leftovers. If your stall holds four plates and you cook ten, real profit is lower than the chart suggests. Cross-check Stall Upgrades and Upgrade Priority when batches routinely go unsold.

Mystery shop buys can push cost above defaults. If you paid premium, mentally add the difference before trusting the green profit figure.

Example decision flow

Scenario: You have mushrooms and one crow drop, capacity for six plates, moderate coins.

  1. Run Grave Mushroom Soup and Crow Satay in the planner
  2. If satay profit leads but cost eats most coins, cook soup tonight and bank for shop restock
  3. Confirm satay still ranks A or S on Recipe Profit Tier List
  4. Cook six portions max, open stall using night market timing
  5. Spend earnings on capacity if queues appeared

Repeat after patches or when promo codes grant free ingredients via Codes Hub.

Limits and honesty

Wiki estimates lag live games by hours or days. Discord reports on the official server sometimes precede wiki updates. If in-game sell prices disagree with the planner, trust the game and file mental notes until editors sync numbers.

Automation scripts that auto-cook or auto-collect materials - see Scripts Hub - do not change the math here. They change risk to your account, not official margins.

Batch sizing and real profit

Multiply per-portion profit by how many plates you actually sell, not how many you cook. If the planner shows 85 coins on crow satay but you only stock three of six slots with satay, your effective run earns less than the headline number. Upgrade stall capacity or downgrade batch size until sell-through matches production.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are profit planner numbers official?

No. They are community estimates for sample dishes. Verify sell prices in-game, especially after Project Dukun patches.

Why does planner profit not match my session?

You may have over-cooked beyond stall capacity, bought expensive shop goods, or played during a balance change. Adjust for those factors.

Which dish should I select first?

Start with the dish you can fully supply tonight, then compare against your next unlock on the Recipe Profit Tier List.

Does the planner include event or code bonuses?

Not automatically. Subtract free ingredients from cost manually when promo codes or events reduce your spend.
